Nokia 5 receives Android 9 Pie update
HMD Global is sending updates for Android 9 Pie to the Nokia 5, a mid-Budget phone which launched in 2017. Nokia is Definitely among the quickest out there with Giving Updates To their handsets that aren't leaders to the most recent versions of Android.
The news was declared on Twitter by Juho Sarvikas, HMD's Chief Product Officer. The Nokia 5 has been on Top up until now. When it was launched it had Android 7.1.1 Nougat on board, and afterward it got a refresh to Android 8.0 Oreo a year ago.

Like all software updates, expect the Nokia 5's Pie release to be
rolling out in stages. As such, don't panic if you own the phone and
haven't seen an update notification yet - it should be coming within the
